Ideally located in the heart of Cape May, our Beach House is perfect for family gatherings or a long weekend getaway with friends. Our spacious 10-bedroom, 10.5-bathroom house replete with 2 expansive kitchens and multiple gathering areas are ideal for your family trip to the shore.
With 10 bedrooms, 10 full baths, and 2 half baths, the Beach House can accommodate up to 22 guests. We also offer the Beach House in other bedroom configurations including 7 bedrooms, 7 full baths, and 1 half bath that can sleep up to 16 guests, or with 3 bedrooms, 3 full baths, and 1 half bath that can sleep up to 6 guests. The Beach House rental includes only bed linens and bath towels. All configurations come with a washer and dryer to refresh your linens at your leisure.Â
The Beach House has many amenities for your comfort, convenience, and pleasure, as it is our most spacious accommodation. The Beach House does not include amenities such as dish soap, paper towels, detergent, or toiletries such as shampoo, conditioner, and bath soap. Guests are required to bring their desired amenities during their stay. The Beach House comes equipped with a full kitchen in any of the available bedding options, including a gas range and oven, dual dishwashers, oversized refrigerator, coffee maker, and microwave. There is a sitting area on each floor, and there are multiple wrap-around balconies and porches to enjoy a cool ocean breeze on a warm summer evening. Onsite parking is included in the room rate, and the first floor is ADA compliant with elevator access to all floors in the Beach House.
Exciting Transformations Ahead
We are excited to share some exciting news — La Mer Beachfront Resort is entering a new era of transformation! Beginning mid-September 2026 through May 2028*, we will be enhancing our property to bring you an even more exceptional experience.
The renovation will focus on the west wing of our resort, located along Beach Avenue, New Jersey Avenue, and Trenton Avenue. As part of this project, our Beach House on New Jersey Avenue will be razed to make way for an exciting new development that reflects the next stage of La Mer’s evolution.
While we cannot wait to unveil what is ahead, we understand construction may cause some occasional inconvenience. Please rest assured our team is dedicated to minimizing disruptions and ensuring your comfort and relaxation remains our top priority.

Our Cape May Beach House Vacation Rental Amenities
Beach Services: Enjoy sun, sand, and surf with our complimentary beach service including lounge chairs, beach towels, beach tags, and umbrellas. Oceanfront cabanas are available to hotel guests for an additional fee, subject to availability. (Offered seasonally from late May through mid-September; weather permitting.)
Bicycle Rentals: Cruise around Cape May with the ocean breeze, beautiful homes, and gorgeous beaches as your view along the way. Available on the property year-round for rent (subject to availability.)
Cardio Gym: Experience immersive cardio that will keep you coming back for more. Indoor cycling comes to La Mer with the Peloton Bike! In addition, our gym offers TRUE treadmills, bikes, ellipticals, cable system resistance machine, and stretching area. The fitness center is exclusively reserved for guests 18 years of age or older. Children are not permitted at any time, even when accompanied by an adult.
ChargePoint Electric Car Charger: Rest easy and stay charged with our electric car charging station located on the property.
Complimentary Parking: Park at ease within our covered and uncovered parking options or enjoy ample street parking.
Concierge Services: During your stay, you will be delighted with our knowledgeable concierge team and their great suggestions for what to do, where to eat and how to best enjoy your visit. We’ll happily assist you with reservations and handle any other arrangements to help make things as easy and hassle-free as possible.
Golf Carts: Each guestroom includes (1) parking space. Guests may use this space for either a vehicle or a golf cart—not both. Golf carts require a permit and must be registered at the front desk. Unregistered golf carts are subject to towing at the owner’s expense. Additional parking passes are not available. Free street parking is located around the resort’s perimeter. Please Note: Charging of golf carts is not permitted on property.Â
Heated Outdoor Pool: Enjoy a refreshing dip in our outdoor heated pool, always comfortable at 82 degrees, appointed with lounge chairs, pool towels, umbrellas, a designated kiddie area, and open outdoor showers (offered seasonally from late May through mid-September; weather permitting.) The pool is limited to guests of La Mer Beachfront Resort only; excludes the Beach House.
Late Departure Facility: Stay and play in Cape May knowing we offer a place to rinse the sand with an enclosed shower and changing room for hotel guests.
Onsite Restaurant: Savor coastal delights at the Pier House, one of Cape May’s most iconic restaurants offering indoor and outdoor dining and cozy outdoor firepits (subject to availability, weather permitting.)
Seasonal Onsite Laundry Facilities: Pack less and enjoy more vacation time with our onsite laundry facility featuring FMB Smart Maytag washers and dryers. Monitor your laundry using the app and enjoy fresh and clean clothes throughout your stay from the comfort of the beach or pool while you wait. (Detergent available for purchase.)
